Shmup play back: Raiden and Shikigami 1, 2, 3

A couple of weeks ago I was able to pick up that NIH shmup replay video The Aces High Raiden (The Aces High 雷電) at one of those bargain bin sales at Sofmap at 3000 yen. I think its a deal, with 2 DVD discs and 2 CD sountrack discs, but really, I can't remember the music to any of the three. I haven't gotten through it all, but watching parts of Raiden II it reminded me of a college friend who among other things, actually introduced me to Goldeneye. I fell asleep watching it, but that's not because of the content.

Next I think this is first time I bought a commercial shmup for my Windows PC. It's Shikigami no Shiro EX (1) and 2 "pack", hahah. It has the ugly yellow DVD case by Sourcenext. On the shelf right next to where I got it, there was a used copy of Shikigami no Shiro 2 for Windows going for about 2000 yen. I suppose this is to finish off my "collection" of all ports of Shikigami no Shiro 2.

I've seen at the PC pre-order areas that Shinigami no Shiro 3 will be coming out 2006/09. Haha. Never mind, I haven't played it yet, so I'm not pre-ordering, but if it comes out for the Sourcenext series, for cheap... This release will be about 8000 yen, yowza.
