Frustrated to tears: DJ Max Portable 2

A week ago I achieved my goal on DJ Max Portable 2, the max combo (no-miss) of the "Seoleim" stage.

There were other songs to achieve. I kept hacking it on the train and in the bus. I achieved max combos on the level 5 and lower stages. I started developing endurance for longer and longer sequences, which was satisfying. I'm no longer a gibbering puddle of thumbs trying to mow down the bars, at least for the songs I know.

But still it is frustrating. I'm not leveling up fast enough, I'm not getting the songs right fast enough. The gold and experience point levels are not moving up fast enough. I finally unlocked one more song ("Syriana", also featured on this collectable t-shirt) after two weeks of plateaued performance, but there's still 10 more to go, I think.

Perhaps my body just won't cut it for this game. I'm going to put this one on "back burner" for now.
