Checkpoint (Final Fantasy XII, Rhythm Tengoku) and Xbox 360 demo Lost Planet"

(tags game, PlayStation 2, Final Fantasy, console RPG, GameBoy Advance, demo)

Final Fantasy XII is winding down for me at 160+ hours. I've got three more sub-bosses before I called it done. I'm still working on that other boss. It's like chipping rock face with toothpick awl.

I completed the Rhythm Tengoku credit finish (6th mix). Getting the medals isn't as tough as I thought, but when I achieve the perfects, I pump my fist like I'm in the end zone, yeah baby. This game is great for just picking up while on the go. But I lack the patience to go though the drum drill game. OMG, are you going to make me a drummer? I'm definately not worthy, geez I can't even complete the second level. Oh yeah it said in the credits that Tsunku♂ was one of the producers. Wow, he's into games too?

I keep on checking out the Xbox 360 to see if its really for buying. I've totally ignored Senko no Ronde even though I made my mind up to buy it months before. Many copies of that software available everywhere. The demo unit I played had Power Smash 2 and while it was fun behind the player, playing from the opposite side was turn it off not fun. But the Lost Planet demo (E3 version) was wicked sick. It made me feel like picking up Halo 2 again. This is definately a game to watch. A Xbox 360 friend said many people are expecting good things from this game, come 2007 first quarter. If I ever pick up a HD TV, then I suppose I will be picking up a Xbox 360 soon thereafter.
