Now joining 2005: PlayStation Portable

I bought a PSP. No updates to this blog for a while. (^_^)

Just a note. The PSP screen is 480 by 272 pixels (16:9). Remember this ratio and screen size FTW.

Backgrounds are beautiful, but the menu display seems to overlay right on top of the interesting part of the picture. If I didn't remove the Memory Stick Pro Duo, then Arin's face would be covered by white text and would not be visible.

I bought Wipeout Pure and LocoRoco, both for around 2000 yen. I also bought 3 PSP movies, Matrix, Shawshank Redemption, 8 Mile. I already had a 512 MB Memory Stick Pro Duo so I have some space. And it appears to be firmware 3.10, but I'm not going to dabble into emulation just yet.

I'm pretty satisfied with the PSP. It's a slick package with pretty mature capabilities, browsing, photo/music/video, game play.

Why did I buy it now? I think I like the case color "Champagne Gold" over black, white, pink, blue and silver, haha.
