Rez HD, there is more I hope?

(tags Xbox 360, game, Rez, shmup)

Um, there's more to Rez HD, right? I beat this Xbox Live Arcade port the first time I played it, but of course, not without losing all my forms (i.e. down to my last life). I've never played Rez before, either.

800 Microsoft Live Points quickly gone. I opened my second controller (that Todd McFarlane Halo illustration and figure) but I couldn't figure out how to sync it to the console... Oh two red buttons to press, I got it. I actually bought another Sync and Play cable and battery (white does not match, dumb dumb) set used for 1280 yen so that I could get the Trance Vibration feeling. I put the second controller on my lap, fap fap. :-) Oh come on, where else do I put it? My shoulder? My chest or neck? Oh, my feet, that would work.

On my first go around the music didn't seem to sync with the sound effects. I must not know what to fire. I didn't feel any Rez "rhythm". Maybe next time I should turn it up. I wonder if I could turn up the Trance Vibration, because it felt like it was fading away in the higher levels. The cable was still securely connected, so I don't think it was a power draw problem.

Definately I'm keeping HD mode on. Original mode has black borders on all sides of my screen. Graphics are... well at least they don't make my eyes water. :-)

Suffice it to say I was not blown away, probably because I didn't die before seeing the credits. This requires more time and experimentation, I hope. There seems to be new stuff to explore and lots of other stuff unlocked. I already got 100 out of 200 Achievement points. I hope the fun starts soon.
