I enjoyed the first day of Spring, or at least the afternoon, in Nipponbashi. The main street was closed off to car traffic (歩行者天国歩道) and there was user-created and commercial cosplay afoot. I can't wait until Senaka:ota-road (せなか：オタロードBlog) updates (NSFW) with loads of pictures. And I hope it's not of anime-painted cars, ugh.

Update: It seems this thing is called the 3rd annual Nipponbashi Street Festa (日本橋ストリートフェスタ). But what you want to look at is the normal otaku report complete with pictures. They may as well call it "Car Festa", too, sheesh.
