No more Blogger-based exported blog with Windows Live Writer?

I don't know why, but Windows Live Writer doesn't update directly to my Blogger-based exported blog, "we get signal" (this blog). Maybe its because Blogger went out of beta and they have a new API. I don't think its Live Writer's fault.

That's why my recent posts are picture-less. It's kinda of a hassle to use the Blogger default in-browser editor. Sure I could copy-and-paste from Live Writer, but I lose the convenience (plus it would be the same as I previously did with Nvu or Mozilla or Emacs).

Perhaps I should just upgrade to the "new Blogger" (its out of "beta", w00t?) and then maybe Live Writer will work? First I need to make a backup, though. I should just create another google account and start a new blog and see if it works at all.

edit: I figured out that if I initially add the paragraph tags, the in-browser Blogger editor inserts them automatically, which is the way I like it.
