Mobile gaming, The

Virtua Tennis is annoyingly slow. But the tendancy to put stats on everything sucks.

Geometry Wars demo movie

Downloaded a demo video of Geometry Wars. Wow it looks great. Someting that Kenta Co would make. Wait a minute, he did try, didn't he?
But the demo player kept on dying a lot. Doesn't this guy play shmups?

A fortress of Gameboy Advance

I'm being re-invigorated to play Gameboy Advance games. Namako team posted a quickie about Double Dragon Advanced which made me comment and furthur more take out the game itself. Before actually staying with the game, I broke out the Konami Aracde collection. Time Pilot rocks! Scramble sucks. Double Dragon was still hard hard ard.
But what surprised me was Fortress. I stuck with this game even after the trial 15 minutes of "Does it suck?" evaluation. Wow it's wierd. I keep thinking this is what Monty Python would make for video games. I'm going to check out the gamefaq for more clues. Then again I like this feeling of mystery and not knowing all of the strategies.

Back to DS

I started playing the DS again. Two games on my plate: Brain training & Mr. Driller DS. The latter is the same graphics, bad sounds, etc. Not much improvement in the base game. Brain training pegged my mental age at 80 years old. Ugh. Why? I can't name colors fast in Japanese.

No save point for the lazy

I finished Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga for the GBA. It took me about 28 game hours and a wasted weekend. I liked how the end boss was difficult not only stat-wise but reflex-wise. But at the end, there was no save point! How was I going to save the end credits? After watching that there really wasn't much more to the game. I did like that mini-game with all the falling stars, etc. The game is done. What do I with it?
