Do you want some humble pie?

Before I start my gaming session let me just note what went down last night.

I can't get past "date 2" with Ayumi in Typing of the Date. I suck at the mini-game "shiritori" (しりとり). Shiritori is game you play between friends when you have no implements, pens, papers, or video games, like a game you play when you're on a drive. It's a vocal game where you try to think of words that start with the same syllable as the last word said by the other player. In this video game, you try to best a one of Ayumi's suitors. The game ends when someone says (types) a word that ends in "nn" (ん) or is one of the randomized "today's NG (no good)words", as shown below.

So I tried 4 times to play this out and a hour passed but I still couldn't succeed. I kept on picking a NG word. And whenever I lost, the 20 minutes invested into the level evaporated. That's when I turned of the Dreamcast and went on to something else. You know, before I exploded.

Now that I'm refreshed I'm going to try it again. This time I'm going to try to slow down in that mini-game. Selection, instead of typing speed, is the key.
