Trying out "Edgy" Ubuntu

(tags Linux, install, VMWare)

I'm trying out Ubuntu's latest version, "Edgy" 6.10, since I like Debian a lot more now (than Gentoo or RedHat).I also figured out how to get "Kubuntu" and "Xubuntu", just apt-get them:

apt-cdrom -m -d /media/cdrom0 add
aptitude install xubuntu-desktop kubuntu-desktop

Not like adding the CDROM image for Ubuntu helps at all, ha ha.
