posting from Windows Live Writer (beta)

So what can you get for free? Namely, a "Windows Live Writer", which in old terms is a front-end desktop application to interface with your online blogging service. I'm typing and uploading with this right now.

But does let me edit the way I want to? Do I get the italic or bold in the preferred tag <em> and <strong>? (Yes) Is this better than Nvu, which seems stuck at 1.00 from last year? (Jury is still out)

How about if I stick a picture like I usually do, in the middle of the post?

It's not bad at all. Let's see what happens when we post.
